Tai chi qigong is a series of slow, intentional movements that still the mind, relax and renew the body and spirit. The benefit of tai chi qigong is in the practice. Thus one "teaches" ones body to relax and move in balance, opening up to the flow of universal energy within and without.
I teach this as a way of relaxing and many of the movements can be incorporated into ones day to day life.
Truly a "meditation in motion," we will be working on the first 6 movements of the short form of Sun Style Tai Chi (total form is 37 movements). We will learn how to properly shift weight and move without stressing ones hips and knees. We will also incorporate one of the ancient "animal frolics" into our practice.
Class will meet every other Wednesday at 7:30pm for an hour.

A minimum of 8 paid students will be required for me to schedule and teach this class.
